Smart City is synonymous with embracing emerging technologies for better lives. The aim is to promote and strengthen governance and improve results for urban residents. Developing smart visions and solutions requires leveraging all the available assets including experts know-how and citizen participation. Public information, efficient energy, green buildings with smart parking, solid waste management and robust transport system all form the utopia of our Smart City.

IPSCDL is formulated to take some smart measures and bold decisions for Panaji. The social fabric of the city is unique and should be preserved. Tree cover, mangroves, springs, fields, the river are all Panaji’s natural heritage and efforts will be made to preserve them. We also aim to bring convenience to locals through the effective use of e-governance. And of course citizen consultation will be critical to city planning. The people of Panaji have always come forward to assist and be involved in matters related to the city and that is what is special about Panaji.
